In Memory of Duke Johnson

On Friday Feb.15, 2008 Chapter members were invited by Denise Johnson to attend a church service at St. Jerome's for her husband and our friend Duke Johnson.   We had 30 motorcycles and others came in their cars.  Duke and Denise go way back with the chapter. They attended a lot of the rides, meetings, and chapter events like the holiday parties and the the picnics.  

The thing that many of us would remember him for is being our Web Master for about 4 years. He decided to retire as Webmaster the end of 2007. Duke turned the chapter website into a great place to visit. He created new links for us to go to to get information on so many different things. People who didn't even belong to the chapter visited the site and said it was one of the best they ever looked at. He was always right on top of everything going on with the chapter so we always had the latest information to look at.  He definitely was a Web Master. 

Duke was an  easy going guy that everyone loved and enjoyed being with. He is missed by all who knew him.
