On Saturday Oct 10th right after our bellies were full and the LOH breakfast meeting was over,  8 ladies headed to Christine's house to put together our baskets that we would be raffling off at the 10th Annual UPARC Event on  Sunday, November 1, 2009. Starting at our 2nd chapter meeting of the year, Christine lets everyone in the chapter know that will be putting together the raffle baskets and that we are looking for donations of any kind from everyone to fill them. Through the months  LOH  gathers things that are donated by chapter members, friends, family, gift certificates from restaurants and stores etc...

      It is great to see all the support we get from everyone buy the donations that are given to LOH to help us raise money for our chapters biggest charity event of the year. We were able to put together 19 beautiful baskets and I do mean beautiful  we have some very talented ladies in our group !  We also had some help from Christine's dog Savanna . She was giving toe and leg washes and massages to anyone wearing sandals open toed shoes and shorts of any kind. I myself was treated to the whole wash and massage and rather enjoyed it !!

    We still have some people that are putting together their own baskets to donate to the raffle. We do have a few empty baskets left over if anyone has any last minute things we can fill them with.  It would have been great if we could have filled all of them but we still did great and are very thankful to everyone would stepped up to help us out !

           Thank you again for being a very caring and giving group of people. We could not have done it without you !!
