Saturday June 28Th  we had our monthly Chapter Meeting. We always have our meeting on the last Saturday of the month. We held the meeting in our new room up on the second floor. It's a pretty nice size room .We all seem to fit without any problem.

          Jim started to meeting the way he always does, with a great big welcome to everyone. He fills us all in on whats  new and gives a special welcome to all new members and guests.  Jim covers important  Chapter business and then its on to our guest speaker for the night. Jenny Coxs from UPARC was our speaker . She told us about a program they have in UPARC where they have clients working assembling things for company's that bring their products to UPARC  . Sometimes they stuff envelopes sometimes they put things together, it's great because they get payed for the work that they do. It teaches them responsibility and helps them learn about working  and earning their own money.

      We had our new Safety Officer Scott Tillesen say a few words to us about lane changing when your riding

      Our rider of the month was Mike Richards but he was off on the Freedom Ride having a great time so I didn't get a picture. 

      Every three months Mike Reiker gives a prize ( a gift card ) to the Road Captain that has led the most rides and gone to  all the Road Captains meetings and been a real team  player when needed. They get points for all the things they do, Then Mike totals up the points and bingo we have a winner.  Mike was out of town so he was not at the meeting so the Asst. Road Captain David Defiore was to give out the prize. The Road Captain that received the gift card for the quarter was David DeFiore. David shoot is own hand as he got his gift card and thanked himself for all his hard work and great rides he led.

       Then it was time for 50 / 50 and one of our favorite things Dr. Mikes merry moment. After his story Dr. Mike showed us a new item he had gotten that was just perfect for him.  He modeled it for us so I got to take a picture for all to see . I didn't want anyone to miss out on this wonderful thing he brought to show us. It was a Bald Mans Shower Cap !!!!!!!     I think he looks adorable, it brings out the real biker in him !
