Sunday March 16th was our annual Chapter Picnic . The only thing that we all wanted to know was WHERE IS THE PICNIC ?????????

      David DeFiore and Nancy Howard made up a treasure hunt type ride for us to follow to find out where the picnic was . It was first bike out at 9:00 and last bike out at 10:00 and we should all make it to our destination by about 12:00. They had us follow maps they made that would take us on a very nice little ride. First to Philippe Park in Safety Harbor to see Mike and Pam Richards to get another map that would lead us to a different location, Howard Park in Tarpon Springs to see Dave and Nancy to get another map that led us to Sand Key Park in Clearwater to see Jerry, Lucy and Glo Walsh and there  we got the map with our final stop, Walsingham Park !!!!! They had it broken up into two different rides that were opposite each other. For some Philippe was the first stop for the others Sand Key was the first stop. It was great . We all seemed to meet up at Howard Park . We talked a little, some used the facilities and then our groups went their separate ways again.

   They had volunteers at each stop handing out the maps.   It was a lot of fun not knowing where we were going to end up !

    When we got to Walsingham Park everything was ready and waiting for us. Before we ate Jim Wattam thanked everyone for coming to the picnic and told us to have a great time. The picnic was catered again this year. Just like last year the food was great and there was plenty to go around and around again. After we ate until we could eat no more it was time for dessert !  We had two different kinds of cake for dessert.

     Ed Kozlowski had some games set up for us to play and Bonnie Kozlowski handed everyone a ticket when we got to the park. The ticket was for a drawing for a gift card. They also had gift cards for the lady and the gentleman with the highest score in the games. Mitch and Becky seemed to have all the luck with them on Sunday, first Mitch won the gift card for gas in the raffle and then Mitch and Becky won for highest score in the games. Congratulations guys!!

                     The picnic was a big success !!! We had a great turn out . Most people came on their bikes . After the picnic a group of us rode over to Okeefe's to their St Patrick's weekend party to show our chapter support for their event.

         Great ride, great food and fun and most of all great friends !! What a way to end the weekend !!!!!!!!!
