          Sunday morning we went to Fletcher's to join Charlie and Judy Nolan for an early morning ride in the country to Pecks Restaurant in Ozello. It was a nice morning a little fog here and there but not enough to keep us from riding . As we circled around Fletcher's to line up for the ride I counted a total of 31 beautiful shinny Harley's and 39 beautiful smiling faces to go with them. We had a one of the best turn outs I have seen in a long time.

          Charlie took us on a great ride thru the country roads that we all can't wait to get to. Crawley Road, Ehren , Bellamy Bros. Road, CR 494 . These roads are full of all kinds of twists and curves. It is a lot of fun going around the curves gliding this way and that way as we ride along , BUT it is always important to remember not to rush thru some of these turns because they can be a little sharper than you think sometimes so you have to pay really close attention to the road. Make sure that you are at a comfortable speed as you lean into the curve and roll on the throttle. Make sure you don't get on top of the bike in front of you . Leave enough room in case they need to ride more to the center of the lane as they turn so they don't bump into you. Maneuver around the turns at a nice slow pace.  It is not a race to see how fast you can take these curves. We all want to get to our destination safe and sound .

           We had two rest stops along the way which is always nice when we are on a long ride. It gives you a chance to stretch your legs, get gas if need and maybe get a quick snack and go potty.

           If you have never been to Pecks before it sits on the waters edge. The view is so beautiful. It is a very nice place. They gave us the back room all to ourselves again. We had a lot of good conversations going on . Everyone seemed to be having a very good time. We also had some newer member on the ride that we all got acquainted with as the day went on. It's always nice meeting new members and welcoming them to the group.

          When we where done eating and it was time to ride off into the sunset we said our good bye's and headed home to watch the Super Bowl. Some of us rode home in little groups some rode by themselves.

                  It was a very nice day !! A lot of laughs and good friends having fun doing what we all love to do . Ride and eat !!!!!!!!!
